Weekly Events

In addition to regular Sunday services, there are many opportunities through a thriving midweek programme.

• There are home groups that meet each week to study the Word of the Lord, to learn about Jesus, and to meet with others socially.
• Our prayer group meets each Wednesday morning to praise the Lord and to intercede for those that are in need of prayer. On Thursday morning our office volunteers have a time of prayer mainly for prayer requests from the web site and for other special requests. If you know of someone that would benefit from prayer please let us know. There is a prayer request facility on the web site, a request box at the back of church, or you could ask personally.
• There is even a Craft Group that meets each Wednesday, where you can explore and express your artistic talents.

Opportunities

Emsworth Baptist Church provides opportunities for everyone to serve the Lord in many different ways. These range from music and drama through to practical help, both at the church and in the community. Our promise is:

• To glorify our Lord Jesus Christ in all that we do.
• To encourage the church family to grow in Christian maturity through service.
• To reach out to the community.

The Future

As an ever expanding Church, we have reached the point where we need to enlarge the church building. To this aim, we have purchased the land adjacent to the church hall leading to the roundabout. It is our intention to build a new church on the plot of land in the near future. The new church building will be a celebration of Christian worship in Emsworth, and will be fully integrated into the community as a resource for everyone.
