Dear God: Part One

Message Overview

Prayer isn’t about performance — it’s about connection. In Matthew 6:5–9, Jesus teaches us to move beyond empty words and public displays, inviting us into a quiet, honest relationship with God. He begins the Lord’s Prayer with “Our Father,” reminding us that God is not distant — He is personal, present, and deeply invested in us. At the same time, we’re called to approach Him with reverence: “Hallowed be Your name.” True prayer starts with worship, centring our hearts on who God is — our holy, loving Father.
