Plan Your Visit
Hey There 👋
Thinking about visiting us on Sunday? You'll make our week!
People from all walks of life call this church home, and we would love for you to feel part of that too.
Here is everything you need to know:
First Things First…
You don’t need to have it all figured out.
Simply come as you are and make yourself at home. Whether you’re full of faith, full of questions, or somewhere in between, you are so welcome here.
Choose A Time That Works For You
We meet at 9:30am and 11am every Sunday. Both services last about an hour and are exactly the same, so you won’t miss anything whichever you choose.
During our 9:30am service, we have dedicated groups for kids and youth — you can find out more about those below. At our 11am service, there aren’t kids and youth groups running, but we do have activity packs available for children staying with parents or carers during the service.
When you arrive, come through the main doors and our friendly Welcome Team will be right there to say hello and help point you in the right direction.
Hot Drinks & Good Company
Between our two services, from 10:30–11:00am, we have free hot drinks available for everyone. If you come to the first service, stay and enjoy a coffee; if you’re coming to the second, arrive a little early and grab one before we begin.
It’s a great time to meet people and connect with the church family.
What Happens In A Service?
Our services last about an hour and include a warm welcome, worship through music, prayer, and a message from one of our pastors to help us grow in faith and in following Jesus. At the end, we’ll share about upcoming events or activities we think you’ll love.
Once a month, we also share communion together (with gluten-free bread and non-alcoholic wine). There’s no pressure to join in — but you’re very welcome to if you follow Jesus.
Everything we do is with newcomers in mind, so whether church is familiar to you or completely new, we want you to feel comfortable and enjoy your time with us.
Kids & Youth
During our 9:30am service, we run dedicated groups for children and young people.
Everyone starts together in the main service in the auditorium. Then, shortly after the start, children and young people are prayed for and invited to their sessions in the cabins next door (named Eden and Bethel).
EBC Kids — Reception to Year 2 (Eden)
EBC Kids+ — Year 3 to Year 6 (Eden)
EBC Youth — Year 7 to Year 9 (Bethel)
EBC Youth+ — Year 10 to Year 13
Discover more about what happens during these sessions here.
At the end of the service, the team will bring all children and young people back to the foyer ready for collection.
During our 11am service, there are no kids or youth groups running, but we would love to give children an activity pack to enjoy during the service while sitting with their parents or carers.
You can register your children on the day or online, which helps us best care for your children and keep in touch with you.
Babies & Pre-Schoolers
In both services, we have a crèche area in the foyer with comfortable sofas, soft mats, and lots of toys for babies and toddlers. We love having little ones in the service, and noise is absolutely fine. However, if you ever want to spend some time in the crèche, please feel free. There is a TV there with a live feed of the service to keep you connected.
Baby changing facilities are available in the ladies and disabled access toilets.
Safeguarding
For your peace of mind, safeguarding is our highest priority. All staff and volunteers working with children, young people, and adults at risk are required to complete an enhanced DBS check.
Live Translations
We want everyone to feel at home and able to fully join in when we gather. That’s why every Sunday we offer live translations during our services, helping you follow along in your own language. Just bring your phone or device.
You can find out more about live translations here.
Accessibility
Our building is fully accessible for those using wheelchairs or mobility scooters. We have a disabled-access toilet, and parking spaces are available directly outside the building for easy drop-offs. We also have a T-loop sound system to help those using hearing aids.
