BMS World Mission
The Baptist Missionary Society BMS was established over 230 years ago. It promotes World Mission by mobilising people, resources and skills across the Global Church to share the good news of Jesus and practical hope where it is most needed.
BMS works hand-in-hand with global organisations, mission workers and supporters to:
share Christ and nurture disciples
alleviate suffering and injustice
enable God’s people to play their part in his mission
EBC has been supporting BMS for decades and seeks to build closer ties though their Church Partners scheme.
Our BMS Partners
Wissam Nasrallah (Lebanon)
Wissam is married to Sophie, whom he met while studying in France. Together, they have two children.
In 2017, Wissam and Sophie felt God calling them into full-time ministry back in Lebanon. Over the past few years, they have led a non-profit organisation supporting vulnerable families in Lebanon, Syria and Iraq. Wissam has been overseeing all areas of its ministry, representing the charity to supporters, partners, and churches.
In October 2025, he transitioned to the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary (ABTS). This has given him the opportunity to work more closely with local churches across the region, helping to equip faithful ministers of the Gospel.
Ardi Wiriadinata (Indonesia)
During his Senior & High school studies in USA, Ardi experienced God's calling for him to return to Indonesia and serve in full-time.
Ardi is married to Lily, and they have two daughters. He loves travel, sports and technology.
He has been a long-term partner of BMS since 2003, where Ardi has worked as a church planter, pastor, lecturer and speaker. He now holds a key role as Director of Mission for the Asia Pacific Baptist Federation (APBF).
