Crèche
The Aim: The Crèche team helps create a safe, friendly, and supportive environment for preschool-aged children and their parents or carers during Sunday services. By offering a calm and welcoming presence, we help families settle in and feel at ease as they engage with the service from the foyer.
More Information
-
Crèche takes place by the sofas in the foyer during the Sunday morning service, which runs from 10am to around 11.15–11.30am.
You’ll typically serve once every two months as part of a rota, so it’s easy to fit around your availability.
-
Are you brave enough to face a herd of dinosaurs? If you are, you will be very welcome in our crèche team.
We’re looking for kind, approachable people who enjoy being around young children and supporting families in a thoughtful and caring way. A current DBS is required. If you’re a good listener, friendly, and able to help parents and carers feel welcomed and supported, you’ll be a great addition to the team.
This role offers a rewarding opportunity to serve our youngest generation and their families.
-
You’ll welcome families as they arrive, offer practical information about the space — including where to find toilets, water, and nappy-changing areas — and help them feel at home. Parents and carers stay with their children and handle personal care, but you’ll help maintain a safe and tidy space by watching for trip hazards, small toys, or spills. You may also share information about other children’s ministries such as Pebbles, helping families feel connected and supported.
