Girls' Brigade
The Aim: Girls’ Brigade is a worldwide Christian organisation dedicated to helping girls grow in confidence, character, and faith. At EBC, we create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where girls aged 4 to 18 can come together to build lasting friendships, try new activities, and discover their unique gifts and talents. Through games, crafts, challenges, and faith-based discussions, we encourage girls to develop strong values and a deeper understanding of what it means to follow Jesus in their everyday lives.
More Information
-
We meet on Tuesday evenings during school term time. The younger group (ages 4–10) meets from 6pm to 7.15pm, and the older group (ages 10+) meets from 7pm to 8.30pm.
Most sessions take place here at EBC, with occasional outings or special events off-site.

We’re looking for those who have a heart for working with girls and young women. You don’t need to be an expert in crafts, activities, or Bible stories — just someone who is dependable, encouraging, and willing to get stuck in. A DBS is required, and full training will be provided.
If you enjoy building relationships and want to invest in the next generation through faith, friendship, and fun, you’ll find Girls’ Brigade a rewarding place to serve.
-
You’ll join a supportive team that plans and runs the activities and teaching. This might mean leading games, crafts, or discussions, or simply being there to chat and encourage the girls. You’ll help guide them through their badge work, supporting both their personal and spiritual growth.
From weekly meetings to special events like sleepovers, outings, and our annual display evening, you’ll be helping create a safe space where girls can be themselves and grow in faith.
