Pebbles
The Aim: Pebbles is a fun, friendly, Christian-based toddler group that offers a welcoming space for little ones (from birth until school age) and their parents or carers. Our aim is to create a safe, engaging environment where children can play, learn, and grow — and where adults can enjoy a supportive and relaxed community.
More Information
-
Pebbles meets every Monday during school term time from 9.45am to 11.15am across the whole building. When the weather’s nice, we also make good use of the outdoor area.

We’re looking for kind, enthusiastic people who enjoy spending time with young children and chatting with parents and carers. Whether you’re happy to set up activities, pour drinks, tidy up, or join in singing nursery rhymes — your smile and warmth will be so appreciated. A current DBS is required, and we’ll provide full guidance to help you feel confident in your role.

Alongside the team, you’ll help create a welcoming space where children and their carers feel relaxed, supported, and included.
Before the session, you’ll help set up activity stations around the hall — on tables and the floor — ready for the children to explore.
During the session, you’ll greet families warmly as they arrive, especially welcoming any visitors. You’ll support the children during play and craft activities, encouraging their creativity in a gentle and friendly way. Many crafts link to simple Bible stories, offering a lovely way to help children explore faith through creativity.
You’ll also assist with snack time, serving healthy food to the children and refreshments to the adults. At the end of the morning, you’ll join in singing nursery rhymes and help celebrate birthdays with a small gift from our birthday box.
At the end, you’ll help pack away everything with the rest of the team.
