The Aim: Our Hospitality Teams help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere by serving hot drinks and refreshments before and after Sunday services — for both adults and children. This gives people space to relax, connect, and feel at home, supporting a sense of community from the moment they walk through the doors.

Hospitality is made up of two teams who serve in the kitchen on a Sunday:
Pre-Service: Arrives at 9am to prepare and serve drinks from 9.30am until the service begins at 10am.
Post-Service: Steps out of the service a little early (around 11.10am) to set up and begin serving once the service ends.
Most people serve once a month, but you are welcome to do more or less depending on your availability.

We’re looking for friendly, practical people who enjoy serving others with warmth and a smile. If you love teamwork, keeping things running smoothly, and making a great cup of coffee or pot of tea, this will be a great fit.

You’ll help with preparing and serving a selection of hot drinks and refreshments, restocking as needed, and keeping the kitchen clean and safe. Filter coffee is served each week, and all training is provided — including how to use the equipment and meet food hygiene standards.
Throughout the year, the hospitality team also helps prepare and serve special refreshments for seasonal occasions and celebrations.
