We meet in the foyer at 9.20am on Sunday mornings for prayer and briefing before we begin. From there, you’ll be stationed throughout the church and outdoors, greeting people as they arrive.

Most of our team serve once a month, but you’re welcome to offer more or less depending on what works for you.

Occasionally, we also support other events like Worship Nights if you are available.

We’re looking for people with a servant heart and a genuine desire to help others feel seen, valued and comfortable. A friendly, approachable manner is key. Full training is provided, and you’ll be supported as you grow in your role and confidence. If you enjoy helping people feel at ease and love creating a welcoming atmosphere, this is a great place to serve.

You’ll say hello to people as they arrive, help newcomers find their way, guide families with children or youth, welcome latecomers, and spend time after the service to make sure everyone feels welcome and included.

Ultimately, you’ll be part of the team that helps EBC feel like home — and that’s no small thing.
