What are Life Groups?

Life Groups play a central role in the life of our church. Each group consists of people who meet together on a regular basis to develop relationships with each other, to draw closer to God and to grow in Christian maturity. They are a great place to receive mutual support and encouragement - to get to know others and for them to get to know you at a deeper level than is possible on a Sunday.

What happens at Life Group meetings?

All our Life Groups are different - some follow material relating to the Sunday morning sermon, others choose books or DVDs to aid their Bible study. What is common to all is that there is time to relate the Bible to everyday life, to pray and share together in friendship.

When and where do Life Groups meet?

The start and finish time depends on each group. Some meet in the morning and some in the evening. Our Life Groups meet in people’s homes, at the church or in the community. We have a number of groups meeting in Emsworth and the surrounding area.

How can I join a Life Group?

You can simply sign up for a group or if you would like more information you can get in touch with us and we will do our best to put you in contact with a group that best meets your needs.

From the 18th April 2022 all our Life Groups will be studying the same material.

The Enemy is constantly seeking to fill our minds with destructive and harmful thoughts—whether of fear, worry, insecurity, anxiety, temptation, envy. . . . It’s all too easy for Satan to manipulate his way into a seat at the table intended for only each one of us and Jesus, and to try making himself at home in our mind. It’s an ongoing battle, but one we can win!

In Don’t Give the Enemy a Seat at Your Table, bestselling author and pastor Louie Giglio shares practical ways to overcome the Enemy’s lies and instead find peace and security in any challenging circumstance or situation. By drawing from Psalm 23 as a framework, he offers biblical insight on how to . . .

  • Cancel the lies that will wreck our lives.

  • Take empowering steps to live fully alive in Christ.

  • Stop the spiral of shame, temptation, and insecurity.

  • Restore peace and rest in our lives.

  • Embrace the true purpose behind our journey through challenging circumstances.

  • Break free from the endless cycle of destructive thinking.
