What are Life Groups?
Life Groups play a central role in the life of the church. Each group consists of between 6 – 15 people who meet together on a regular basis to develop relationships with each other, to draw closer to God and to grow in Christian maturity. They are a great place to receive mutual support and encouragement - to get to know others and for them to get to know you at a deeper level than is possible on a Sunday.
What happens at Life Group meetings?
All our Life Groups are different - some follow material relating to the Sunday morning sermon, others choose books or DVDs to aid their Bible study; but what is common to all is that there is time to relate the Bible to everyday life, to pray and share together.
When and where do Life Groups meet?
The start and finish time depends on each group. Some meet in the morning and some in the evening. Our Life Groups meet in people’s homes. At present, we have 12 groups meeting in Emsworth and the surrounding area.
How can I join a Life Group?
If you would like more information about joining one of the groups you can speak to our Pastor Joel, our Admin Heather, or any of our friendly Church Office staff. They will put you in touch with a group that best meets your needs.
